Soldiers in Petticoats - Fashion and the Suffragette movement.

Explore the history of the suffragette movement, and particularly how suffragettes used fashion to emphasise their cause. We will discuss a broad range of points, including the use of particularly feminine styles and symbolism in colours, as well as the companies marketing fashion towards the suffragettes.
