Road Safety with Minnie and crafting for the Armed Forces Community

Minnie the K9 interactive puppet experience is coming to the Armed forces hub on Tuesday 19 August 2025, 1PM-3PM this is a free activity to enjoy though the summer holidays.

‘Come walk with Minnie’ tells the story of a family going to play at the local park and the importance of holding hands and stopping at the kerb. Aimed at children 3-6 years of age.

Children are encouraged to join in with the story, finding items and helping with the plot to personalising the story.

Comic strip building aimed at age 11+. Come and have a go at thinking of a new story for Minnie with a Road Safety theme and develop a comic strip representation.

Please register using this page and tickets will be confirmed, once proof of Service Connection is shown in person before 15 August 2025 at The Armed Forces Hub, 186 High Street, Scunthorpe.
