We’re pleased to announce auditions for “Extremities.”
This show is written by William Mastrosimone.

Auditions are: Monday February 9th, and Tuesday February 10th at 7:00pm, at the Old Brick Theatre. They will consist of cold readings from the script. Audition forms and sides will be provided. Please bring possible rehearsal conflicts with you.
Auditioners must be 21+. There are violent scenes, some of which are of a sexual nature. This may be triggering for some. Our main goal is to keep all actors physically and mentally safe throughout production.
The show dates are: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, April 24th thru April 26th, and May 1st thru the 3rd 2026.
Synopsis:
Marjorie is home alone when Raul enters through her unlocked door and attempts to attack and rape her. The tables turn when Marjorie is able to subdue Raul, holding him captive. When Terry and Patrica, Marjorie's roommates, come home, they are shocked and begin discussing how to handle the situation:call the police or take matters into their own hands.

Character Breakdown for "Extremities.”
Marjorie: Female, 21-35. The protagonist who survives an attempted assault and subdues her attacker.
* Raul: Male, 25-40. The intruder and attacker who is held captive for the duration of the play.
* Terry: Female, 25-45. Marjorie's roommate, often portrayed as more practical or hesitant about vigilante justice.
* Patricia: Female, 25-45. Marjorie's other roommate, who provides a different moral perspective on the situation.
* Raul and Marjorie must be willing to do stage combat and enact a sexual assault scene. There will be no nudity, but Marjorie will start the play in a short, tie up robe.
We are seeking a diverse cast of strong actors. All are welcome to audition.
