Writing with Oracles is a workshop for all writers, at any level of experience. The format will be Skye's method of using oracle cards as writing prompts. These are beyond standard writing prompts of your favorite childhood memory or the most interesting place you've ever been. These prompts will be more fantastical and surreal.
That said, you don't have to write magic realism. You can write as "normal" or not, poetry or prose or something between.
Please bring whatever writing implements you like, whether fountain pens and Moleskines, glitter pens and scrap paper, or whatever you like. Handwriting is encouraged, but please honor your accessibility needs and use a device if that's better for you. Wifi is available if needed, though all workshop content will be offline.

What the Heck do you need to know?
The workshop will take place outdoors in the pavilion. If the weather is yucky, we can move indoors to the front gallery.
Free. The suggested donation is $10-20. No one will be turned away. Pay what you can. You may donate online (Zelle, Paypal, CashApp, and Venmo) at: www.heck.house/donate Please make a note on the app that it is for writing. OR you may donate in person at the event. 70% of the proceeds will go to Skyeris and 30% to Heck.house.
There is a water cooler onsite and snacks available. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
Parking is on one side of Milton Street, the cross street that the driveway is located on.
