The City of Scott and West Village proudly announce the debut of Village Beats: A Community in Harmony, presented by The Apothecary Shop.
This new signature concert series celebrates Acadiana’s music, culture, and community. The pilot event will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at West Village in Scott, LA.
Event Highlights
5:00 PM – DJ Digital | High-energy opening set
6:15 PM – The Good Dudes | Soul, funk & Southern vibes
7:15 PM – Halftime Program | Featuring the Mayor of Scott, local business spotlights, Village Beats Project Video Premiere, and the National Anthem by Layla Laverne
7:30 PM – Wayne Toups | Legendary zydecajun finale
“Village Beats is more than a show — it’s a celebration of community, culture, and connection,” said Mayor Jan-Scott Richard.
