¡Hola! Come join us for Spanish for Beginners!! Veronica Dorn has offered to host a fun and interactive 8-week course designed for students who are ready to start learning the Spanish language! Classes will begin Thursday, January 8, 2026, and meet each Thursday from 10:00–11:00 AM in the Community Room at the Public Safety Facility (181 E. Oak St.), the same building that houses the McRae-Helena Fire Department and is located next door to The Southern Star Grill Restaurant.
Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary, greetings, numbers, colors, and simple conversational skills through engaging lessons, songs, and activities. Whether you're brand new to Spanish or just want to brush up on the basics, this class is a great place to start!
Classes will run January 8 – March 5, 2026, with no class on February 5th for a mid-semester break.

Immediately after each class, families are invited to join us for our weekly Park & Play meetup at 12pm at Little Ocmulgee State Park for some fresh air, fun, and fellowship!
