Homework Heroes

Have a kid in grades K-5 who needs some help with homework?

We have student volunteers from National Junior Honor Society to assist them at the library on Tuesday afternoons. This program is free and will run from Oct 14 until Nov 18 on Tuesdays, except for Nov 11.

There are two time slots to select on Tuesdays: 4-5pm and 5-6pm. Multiple volunteers will be available for each. We recommend using the 4-5pm time for our younger kids and 5-6pm for older grade school kids if possible, but this is not required, just suggested. If your child is under age 7, please plan to remain with them during this program. For those age 7 & up, grown ups may remain, drop off, or wander the other areas of the library.

If your child does not necessarily need help with homework, but would like some subject tutoring, please register and make a detailed note of the type of tutoring you are interested in. Our volunteers will do their best to cover those subjects.
