Perhaps you, as a spiritual director, have been focusing for some time yourself, maybe even using it occasionally in spiritual direction.
Maybe you sometimes ponder deeper questions about how biospiritual focusing relates to spirituality. Or perhaps you simply want to grow in this practice that you have found so helpful for yourself and others. We invite you to join us for a ‘deeper dive’ into this life-giving practice with other spiritual directors who also seek greater awareness and understanding.
This Level III program is for spiritual directors seeking to deepen their understanding of biospiritual focusing as well as how to help those they see for direction become more attentive to their embodied experience of God. We will begin with time together in person at St. Benedict Center - October 14-16, 2025, followed by five monthly 2-hr Zoom sessions as well as partnered focusing with other participants between Zoom sessions and individual focusing sessions with facilitators.
Beginning Residency - at St. Benedict Center, October 14, 2025, 5:00 p.m. CST – October 16, 2025, 4:00 p.m. CST
Five monthly 2hr Zoom sessions on November 12, 2025 (No Session in December), January 14, February 11, March 11, and April 8, 2026: second Wednesday of the month, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
Partnered Focusing – individual sessions of with presenters and other participants between zoom sessions.
