ABOUT PURE CACAO
The Ceremonial Cacao is made from organic Cacao beans that we bring from our journeys in Peru and is prepared in a traditional way.
Cacao is a supernatural food and is considered a sacred healing plant for centuries in Central and South America. It was highly valued by the Olmecs, Maya and Aztecs for its ability to activate personal transformation, sharpening the instinct and connecting more profoundly to Spirit.
It contains many nutrients including magnesium, iron, zinc, vitamin C and many other antioxidants.
It aids in the production of dopamine and serotonin, and has been referred to as ‘the natural anti-depressant'. This gives cacao a strong power that benefits our body and energy system, with noticeable effects of opening and bringing our focus from the mind to the heart. It helps us to open to new possibilities and perspectives and can guide us into unknown dimensions.
WHAT TO BRING
•Wear something comfortable and maybe bring warm socks.
•A bottle of water. You’ll want to drink plenty of water during and after the ceremony. Cacao is a diuretic and without proper hydration headaches can occur.
•If possible, do not eat too much in the afternoon and go easy on the caffeine and coffee during the day, especially in the hours before the ceremony.
•If you are on antidepressants please let us know as Cacao and certain antidepressants do not always go well together and can have some side effects.
