Active Birth - Prenatal Birth Preparation Workshop

An Active Birth Prenatal Workshop prepares expecting mothers and the birth partner for labour and birth.

This workshop will take you into a practical, lighthearted journey into the physiology of the birth process, starting with labour all the way to the first golden hours when the child is born.

Whether this is your first or second pregnancy this workshop is for you to prepare mentally and emotionally as much as possible for the amazing, challenging messy birth process. An opportunity for the partner to feel clearer on his role and how to support you.

We will have time to learn about the physiology of birth, the amazing wat the body prepares you for birth, practice birth positions and breathing and much more.

For now this workshop is in English language.

They are guided by Irida, a Rite of Passage Doula who draws on a rich mix of practices to support women as they prepare for birth and the postpartum transition.
