YOUnique Yoga - 30-Hour Pilates Reformer Foundations Training - Rescheduled to January
Interested in teaching reformer classes at YOUnique Yoga or elsewhere? This is the perfect time to begin your journey. Our 30-Hour Pilates Reformer Foundations Training is designed to give you the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to begin teaching safe, effective, and empowering Reformer classes as early as January (YOUnique Yoga is currently hiring instructors for morning, evening and weekend classes).
📅 Training Dates & Times
Saturdays: 1/10, 1/24 and 1/31
Time: 10:30am–6:30pm
Remaining hours are completed as self-study, allowing you to review materials, practice sequencing, and develop your personal teaching style.
Pricing - $399
Includes training manual and all required course materials and unlimited reformer classes from 1/10 - 1/31.
📘 What This Training Covers
This beginner-friendly but comprehensive training will prepare you to confidently teach Pilates Reformer classes. You will learn:
Reformer Foundations
Proper setup, safety protocols, and equipment mechanics.
Pilates Movement Principles
Breathwork, core activation, spinal alignment, and functional movement patterns.
Exercise Library & Modifications
Over 50 essential Reformer exercises, regressions, progressions, and contraindications.
Sequencing & Class Design
How to build balanced, creative beginner and mixed-level classes.
Anatomy & Biomechanics
Practical anatomy relevant to Reformer movements and cueing.
Hands-On Teaching Practice
Verbal cueing, tactile cues (when appropriate), and instructor presence.
Special Populations & Safety Protocols
How to adjust for beginners, prenatal/postnatal clients, and common limitations.
Upon completing all course requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Completion qualifying you to begin teaching Reformer classes at YOUnique Yoga and other studios.
