Schenectady Shares 2026 Drive Kickoff Event

Join us for Schenectady Shares' press conference to kickoff our annual food drive on Tuesday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Luke's, 1247 State Street in Schenectady!

This year's drive will run from Tuesday, March 3 through Friday, April 17. Schenectady Shares will be partnering with businesses and organizations throughout Schenectady County hosting collection boxes for donated food and hygiene products and raising money to support efforts to further help area food providers serve more residents in need.

Last year, Schenectady Shares collected more than 24,000 pounds of food and raised over $26,000 in donations with 65 collection sites across the county that resulted in distributing food to 26 local food providers.

Please consider bringing non-perishable food item(s) or personal hygiene product(s) to the presser to donate. We hope to see you there!
