Schenectady Central Park BioBlitz

On September 28th from 10am-12pm ReTree Schenectady is hosting a bioblitz in Central Park, Schenectady! A bioblitz is a great method for collecting data and learning more about local ecology. We are interested in learning more about the plants, insects, birds and other wildlife that live in the Central Park Woods. We will identify as many species as we can during this time period. At the end of the event, we will have a closing ceremony and upload our findings to iNaturalist. If you don't already have an iNaturalist account, we suggest you download the app at home prior to the event. This green oasis is a treasure for people and wildlife who call Schenectady home.
