SUMMER JAZZ & LINDY HOP SCHOOL:
Open Practice (beginners friendly)
We all know how hard it is for Beginners to come to the party where everyone seems to be advanced and have years of experience. But practice makes it perfect!
That's why we offer 2 hours of practice for Lindy Hop Beginners, so all new dancers would feel safe to repeat what they have learned in the classes.
What is Lindy Hop Practice? It's an open floor with music. You can invite anyone you see there to repeat your 1 or 2 steps, then say thank you and ask someone else to do the same. It's not a party, so there's no pressure to dance a whole tune. You can stat and finish whenever you ready.
Who is it for? For all new Lindy Hoppers. You need to have something to practice thought, which means that newcomers with no experience at all should probably come to classes first.
Is it a class? Will we teach you something? Nope. You only work on what you need, with your own plan, with your friends, all by yourselves.
You are not Beginners, but still want to come? Sure, why not. Please keep in mind that music will be slow or moderate tempo.
Is it for everyone or only for BSDC dancers? It's for everyone. Floor is yours:)

4th of July J2025, Friday, 20.00-21.00 (please make sure to be on time)

Place: BSDC, Rue de la Marne 22 (first floor), 1030 Schaerbeek Brussels
Price: €10 (€5 for students), you can use all kinds of BSDC cards to pay
Level: Open Level
Partner: please register with your partner (unless you're specifically interested in solo practice!)

We need 2 or 3 couples to confirm this class. We'll send you a confirmation as soon as we have enough registrations to confirm this class
We kindly ask you to change your shoes on the ground floor and enter the ballroom only in your dance shoes. There's a room next to the entrance where you can safely keep your outside shoes.
