What happens when a wildlife presenter meets a witchy wordsmith? Well, they conjure a spellbinding show woven from folklore, nature and enchantment. This Halloween, they’ll lift the lid on the the mystery, magic and misconceptions of the season with a cosy, candlelit evening – and yes, there will be ghost stories. Everyone’s invited!
Wildlife whiz and bat buff Ajay Tegala (BBC Springwatch, Inside the Bat Cave, author, nature presenter) and Soho Radio’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Witch Zoë Howe (author, broadcaster, artist) bring Witching the Wild Year to Pickering’s Kirk Theatre on Friday 31st October – a night to celebrate the turning of the seasons and explore the fascinating crossroads of folklore, wildlife and the stars.
