She's An Asset-Hard Target Fundamentals: Level 2

Ladies, you have landed here because you have taken our Hard Target Fundamentals Level 1 Class. (If you haven't taken that class, please GO HERE and sign up for the next Level 1 class)

This is the next step to becoming a hard target ! We will contining to focus on being comfortable with firearms with SRT Concepts as we will be inside doing dryfire and then OUT ON THE RANGE for live fire!

Our mission is to take an intimidating subject and make it fun, educational and less scary so that you can protect yourself and your family.

Level 2 picks up where Level 1 left off, giving you the chance to build real confidence with your handgun. We’ll start in the classroom by reviewing core skills using dummy rounds with your chosen defensive handgun.

You’ll run through practical drills that sharpen your fundamentals and prepare you for the range, where you’ll apply what you’ve learned in live fire exercises.

This is where your skills get real, and your confidence starts to soar. SRT Instructors will help you overcome challenges and build confidence and competence needed to handle your handgun safely, empowering you to be your own hero.

This is our LEVEL 2 Class! Once you have taken this class, you will be invited to take our Level 3 and alumni refresher classes for advanced training!

Topics Taught in This Level 2 Class:

• Building on your firearm fundamentals (grip, stance, how to draw from a holster)
• Understanding handgun components and function
• Fundamentals of marksmanship (grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger press)
• Loading, unloading, and reloading techniques
• Range safety rules
• Clearing basic malfunctions
• Live-fire drills focused on accuracy and accountability
• How to use your body as a weapon
• Resiliency mindset techniqes

Class Details:

We will be at the Scarborough Fish and Game Club (once you sign up, you'll recieve further directions) from 9am-4pm. We will spend half the day on the range and the other half inside.

If you have a firearm you may bring it it must be unloaded.

Bring 3 magazines (please arrive with them empty)

Bring your holster and a belt for it go on

Bring atleast 150 rounds of ammo

Bring eye and ear protection

Please bring your own lunch

Please wear boots or sneakers that you are comfortable to move around in on the range.

You will be moving around in this class however if there is anything that makes you feel uncomfortable- you don't need to participate
