On Sunday, December 1, 2025, the Museum Store Association (MSA) celebrates Museum Store Sunday, the signature annual international event and consumer shopping campaign that directly supports arts and cultural institutions around the world.
Museum Store Sunday is the global annual day to Be A Patron – and shop conscientiously and support museum stores and their missions worldwide.
Gammelgården Museum's store (Butik) performs integral and multifaceted work, from earning income for the museum to visitor engagement through store products and experiences.
Much more than a gift store, products sold in the Butik reflect the mission and programs of Gammelgården. Items found in the Butik are curated and carefully selected – just like the works displayed at Gammelgården Museum.
Shop at the Butik during Museum Store Sunday to sample products, receive special discounts, and register for prizes. While you are at Gammelgården, take a look at the holiday exhibits and displays throughout both floors of the Welcome House.
As a special treat, DeCantus will be singing Christmas carols from 2-3 p.m. This is the perfect day to get in the holiday spirit by getting great deals on items in the Butik while listening to festive music!
