Then come back for our first Gullah cooking class with our Gullah Chef on Friday, May 31 at 11:30 AM—a hands-on experience where we’ll cook okra, tomato, and corn together! You'll:

• Discover the cultural history of these staple foods
• Understand the journey from seed to plate
• Learn to prepare a plant-based, nutrient-rich meal
• Build confidence using simple techniques like sautéing, stewing, and seasoning
