Arthouse Cinema: Ne Zha II

From writer-director Jiao Zi comes a record-smashing animated adventure film about an unruly warrior child who forges his own path in a world determined to define him. The most successful animated movie and the highest non-English-language movie of all time, "Ne Zha II" is presented for the first time in a dubbed version featuring the voice work of an international ensemble of gifted actors, including Academy Award-winner Michelle Yeoh. Capturing the hearts and minds of millions of moviegoers all over the world, the scale of the film’s success in China and around the world is matched by the technical and artistic ambition in its making, pushing the limits of what is possible in contemporary animation.

Tickets for the film are $5 for SCAD Card holders; $8 for students, seniors, and military; and $10 for the general public.
