Feed Savannah is a special day in our community where we focus solely on our elderly, disabled, and retirees. On Tuesday, November 27, we will deliver brown bags of love across the city with a 15-stop citywide tour—spreading joy, dignity, and care to those who need it most.
This event is held in memory of the late Jerry “Smitty” Hampton, who began this mission on a smaller scale, using his own resources and his own heart long before his passing. Today, 11 years later, we honor his legacy by continuing the work he started and sprinkling love throughout our entire community—one home, one smile, and one blessing at a time.
This year has been especially challenging due to the hard hits on our economy, but we believe that faith makes room for miracles. My prayer is that every bag we deliver becomes a true blessing to someone who genuinely needs it.
Happy Holidays from Save Our Youth Savannah.
May love lead the way, just as it always has.
