The Youth Hub is holding an exciting event in partnership with Achev. Achev will be coming to the Hub to launch this amazing program on September 24th and it's open to all female and female-identifying Youth ages 12-29. The event will run from 6-8 pm and dinner will be provided.

It’s an introduction to EmpowHER and an orientation into what we do and how we operate. We really want to encourage our young women to become more civically engaged and do more in their communities create agency for themselves and in the long run see more female representation across different sectors.
On the day we would like to get to know their interests passions and career goals so we can tailor some of our workshops accordingly (for those who register).
Our vision and impact goals include:
Increasing youth participation in civic and political engagement.
Strengthening community resilience through locally led service projects.
Expanding leadership and career development pathways.
Building stronger connections between underserved communities and policymakers.
We also support participants with their volunteer hours (120 hours) which they can surpass if they want to.
In a nutshell the orientation will be an introduction to the program an interactive session with different activities to help us know ourselves better and they can register on the spot if it aligns with their personal career goals/interests.
