Autumn at the Village Historical Encampment

I (Mary) have been asked to put together a small encampment at the Ozaukee County Historical Society's Autumn at the Village event on Saturday, October 11th from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. This event will be run like a Crossroads School Day, meaning we will be in stations and provide demos to visiting families. We will be setting up tents the day before, however, they are more to grab attention and for staging, as they don't want us camping overnight at the event. Set up can happen the morning of, as well, as long as you're ready by 9 a.m. Each participant receives $5 credit towards an a variety of yummy fall food offered on site, including chili, soup, and many apple and pumpkin flavored things. While wood-fire cooking can be a demo, we won't need it to feed ourselves and they'd prefer if we didn't dig a firepit, but use braziers, instead. I'd like to have a firm list of who's attending and what demo they're offering no later than the end of August, but ideally by Thursday, August 21. The OCHS has offered to host the 2026 History at the Crossroads (formerly Crossroads Rendezvous), which will take place the second weekend of October back at Peninsula Park, so let's show them what we can do!
