Join us for our Clay Carving Pottery Class! Each participant receives a preconstructed mug, perfectly shaped and ready for your personal touch. Bring your own hand-drawn or printed image, and we’ll guide you step-by-step through transferring your design onto the mug.
In this hands-on class, you will learn essential techniques, including carving with precision, applying underglaze for vibrant detail, using waxing to create stunning contrasts, and finishing with a glaze that brings your piece to life. By the end, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind mug that showcases your artistic vision and pottery skills.

Instructor: Nikki Moritz, a Sauk Centre native, from Nikki Moritz Designs. Nikki has been doing pottery for many years, and teaching at the Art Lab for six years with various skill levels and age groups.
