Join us for a FREE Open Day at the Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts (lower level of the Nutana Legion). Voices of Courage is a fun, family-oriented Culture Days event celebrating the stories, contributions, and resilience of Indigenous and non-Indigenous veterans.
This interactive, family-friendly experience will include:
🔹 Hands-On Morse Code Station – Visitors send and decode secret wartime messages across the museum.
🔹 Discover the role of Cree-speaking soldiers in WW2 communications.
🔹 Learn to write your name or a coded message using Cree syllabics, guided by a language educator.
🔹 Stories in Uniform – Meet veterans sharing personal 10–15 minute stories in an informal setting.
🔹 Heritage Hunt – Take part in a special hunt to find artifacts connected to Indigenous service.
Whether you come along to discover something new, enjoy time with family, or simply reflect, this experience offers an engaging way to connect with our shared history and honour the people who helped shape it.
Please note: The museum is on the lower level and currently does not have disabled access.
Admission is FREE. All are welcome!
