Along the way, you'll explore the concepts of remote-controlled robotics, electronics, and mechanical design while gaining insider tips on competing in combat robot tournaments. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to build your competition-ready robot for future competitions.
- Robots used in the Robot Workshop 101 are plastic and non-destructive.
- Recommended for 10 years old and up!
- Limited to 8 participants per session for a personalised experience!
- Topics covered: Electronics, Motors and Gearboxes, Radio systems, Batteries, Tools, Fasteners, Armor Materials, Competition Rules and Strategy.
- You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks—bottles are preferred; however, we will keep all food and drink away from the robots.
- Workshop robots stay with us, but you can purchase new FingerTech Viper kits at a special discounted rate to take home and continue your journey in combat robotics and participate in @Kilobots's next event!
