Cinema at the Museum: Endless Cookie

This September, Cinema at the Museum presents a series of films that look at the art of documentary and the methods by which the genre reflects and connects our world to the screen. These films examine themes of surveillance, nature, colonialism, class, identity, and tradition, all through documentarians who showcase stories that impact the communities around them.

Through a series of vignettes — some tragic, some funny, all a little bizarre — this animated feature documentary explores the complex bond between two half brothers, one Indigenous, one white, spanning bustling 1980s Toronto to the present-day isolated First Nations community of Shamattawa.

Presented in Cree & English with English subtitles.

Film tickets are $10 at the front desk; free admission for members and youth under 18. Seating is first come, first served. Talks, tours and other events are admission by donation or free with membership.
