Basic Bitchcraft – Class Nine: Spell Jars & Magical Sachets (Workshop)

Step into the world of folk magic, witch… where herbs, crystals, whispers, and intention come together to either hold power in place or let it flow freely. In this hands-on class, we’re exploring two of the oldest practices in witchcraft: spell jars and magical sachets.
Spell jars act as tiny cauldrons of containment—tools designed to hold, stabilize, and amplify energy over time. Sachets, on the other hand, are the breath of the craft… soft bundles that release magic gently into your space, your aura, or your dreams. Both have deep roots across cultures—from medieval witch bottles to European charm bags, Hoodoo mojo bags, plague sachets, Norse herb bundles, and Victorian witch-balls hung to trap spirits.
In this class, you’ll learn the difference between these two magical approaches, how to craft them with purpose, and when each one is most effective. By the end of the evening, you’ll take home your own spell jar and sachet—each built from your intention, your hands, and your magic.
