This experiential workshop invites participants to deepen their connection to self through gentle, embodied mindfulness practices. By blending reflective inquiry with various tools and practices, we will explore how tuning into the body can enhance emotional insight, presence, and resilience. Ideal for those seeking a grounding practice to support personal growth and daily self-regulation. No prior mindfulness experience required—just a willingness to turn inward.
Facilitator: Alysha Allen
Alysha has always felt a deep calling to support others in their healing and growth. With a background in Health Sciences and Psychology from Western University and over a decade of experience in wellness, trauma integration, and community programming, her approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and practicality.
Currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Alysha works from a trauma-informed, integrative lens that honours both the nervous system and the human story. She pays particular attention to relational dynamics and the systems we live within—whether family, community, or culture—recognizing that healing occurs through connection.
Whether in individual sessions or group facilitation, Alysha’s focus is to support clients in reconnecting with their inner resourcefulness and embodied sense of wholeness. Grounded in somatic awareness and nervous system care, she aims to create a space where clients can feel more at home within themselves and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
