On Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 AM - 1 PM, the Sardinia Library is hosting another Gravestone Cleaning Class at the beautiful Sardinia Cemetery (129 Sardinia-Mowrystown Road, Sardinia).
Learn the art of cleaning and preserving gravestones in order to care for the past and honor the memories of those who came before us. Please call 937-446-1565 to register (space limited).
What to Expect:
• Learn proper cleaning & preserving techniques
• Work with experienced enthusiasts in this meaningful, community-focused activity
• Water, lunch, & pop-up tents for shade provided
• Personal camp chairs encouraged for seating
Stay for More: If you're able, please stay after class to volunteer for additional grave maintenance - your service will be greatly appreciated by the community!
