Merry KISSMAS XI will be held at The Saranac Lake Moose Lodge #457. Entry fee to the event is THREE non perishable food items, AND ONE unwrapped toy, OR a $10 donation.
This year SONIC BOOM will perform:
- a TOTALLY ROCKING set of 80’s KISS KLASSICS!
- an ELECTRIFYING MEMORIAL SEND OFF to the one and ONLY "SPACE ACE", ACE FREHLEY!!
- a SPECIAL "GOODBYE TO OZZY" set
- PLUS!!! Remembering EDDIE VAN HALEN, 5 YEARS LATER!
- other ROCKIN' 80’s hits.
Also, for the FIRST TIME we will feature:
- an 80's COSTUME CONTEST
-AND a TOTALLY 80’s KARAOKE CONTEST!
All Toys and Food collected at the event are picked up, and distributed by Families First of Essex County. Please visit www.familiesfirstessex.org for details on this organization.
Half of the money collected will be donated to the Saranac Lake Moose Lodge #457 TOWARDS THEIR COMMUNITY DINNER PROGRAM!
The OTHER half of the money collected will be donated to Tupper Lake local Wally Porter and Family as he bravely faces a devastating cancer diagnosis.
Here is what we’ve done the past 10 years:
We have raised close to $35,000 to contribute to local families and organizations, especially during times of hardship. As well as pay bills for local food pantries.
We have stocked food pantries in Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, Tupper Lake, Keene, Keene Valley, Elizabethtown, and Brighton!
We have been able to put multiple toys in the homes of OVER 1700 local families in Essex and Franklin Counties!!
