We are thrilled to unveil the second edition of the much-loved Tomato Retreat – happening October 13–17, 2025!

Inspired by our ongoing love for vibrant, seasonal ingredients, this retreat is a celebration of tomatoes in all their forms, hosted once again by the brilliant Alessandro Giannatempo, the culinary visionary behind the viral tomato cake.

As the late summer warmth lingers and the last of the sun-ripened tomatoes reach their peak, we invite you back to Casa Lawa for another unforgettable culinary adventure. Together, we’ll explore new and familiar ways to honor this beloved fruit - TOMATO

This immersive experience blends daily workshops with Alessandro, curated activities, communal meals, and peaceful moments surrounded by the raw charm of Casa Lawa. From preserving the essence of tomatoes to mastering iconic dishes and new techniques, each moment is designed to nourish, inspire, and connect.

• Movie night: Fried Green Tomatoes

• Japanese milk bread (Shokupan) class with Alessandro
• Lunch at the beach
• Tomato farm visit

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16

• Poaching tomatoes workshop with Alessandro
• Tomato lunch in the orchard
• Big tomato cake workshop
• Grande Finale dinner: whipped tomato butter, crudo with tomatoes, Pasta alla Norma, caponata, Sicilian mussels
• Boogie in the orchard till late
