Stories of Home: A Community Writing Event (Part 1 of 2)

Join us for an all-ages community writing event exploring "Stories of Home." Bring an item or photo that represents home and create an "I Am From" poem, inspired by George Ella Lyon's original work. Participants can opt to be included in a community short film, celebrating the diverse voices of Santa Monica and greater Los Angeles. No writing experience is necessary. Session led by poet Ivory Rose, with filming by John McCoy.

In partnership with the Community Wellbeing Program a project of the Santa Monica Bay Area Human Relations Council.
