Monthly Sacred Fire ~Transforming lives through the gift of fire

Our ancestors gathered around the fire for warmth, light, and safety. They also did it because of the spiritual presence of fire. Spirit helps us remember our connection to the beautiful mysterious web of life.

Come with your concerns, your songs, your stories, your grief, your laughter, your tears, and your silence. Each community fire has a different flavor or spirit that is created by the ingredients of the world around us: nature, the people who participate that evening, and the Sacred Fire.

Grandfather Fire has been speaking to public audiences around the world for three decades about the Five antidotes: Wisdom, Tradition, Ceremony, Tending Fire and the special emotions of Gratitude, Courage, Grief, Humour and Awe. 

These antidotes have supported humans for thousands of generations to balance the vast wisdom of the heart with the creative independence of the mind, and to deepen connection within ourselves, with each other and the Living World.

REMINDERS

Bring a snack to share with everyone after the fire!

All our fires are substance-free to enhance connection and relationship between all participants.(people are welcome to smoke tobacco around the fire)

SCHEDULE:

7:00 pm - 7:30 pm - come early to help set up

7:30 pm -until ~ 9:30 pm - Sacred Fire - the doors will be locked after 7:30 (so please be on time!)

9:30 pm - 10:00 pm - share snacks, and chat while we clean up.

COST: Our monthly fires are a donation-based offering. You can donate here under Alan Kerner or donate to the Donation Box at the Fire

VENUE/PARKING: You will be coming to our home please treat it with care and respect. .Street parking is generally available on 17th and Dewey. You will come up the stairs to the backyard through the gate on the left of the house. The fire circle will be at the upper garden.
