About the event

Urban Homesteading 101

Urban Homesteading 101 is a two part immersive class designed to show what modern homesteading looks like in an urban setting.
Part One at 11am takes place at the nursery with Tina of 37th Street Cottage and covers spring vegetable gardening, food planning, and the realities of running an urban homestead.
Part Two at 2pm is a field trip to Tina’s homestead, where you will see daily operations in action including gardening, backyard animals and enjoy fresh bread and light snacks made from the homestead
