Seven-time GRAMMY® Award nominee Nnenna Freelon returns to the stage with her signature grace, soul, and storytelling magic. Recognized worldwide as one of the most compelling jazz vocalists of our time, Freelon’s performances are a masterclass in emotion, artistry, and connection.
2025 marks an incredible year for Nnenna — with her acclaimed PBS-NC TV special “Shaped By Sound”, a new album “Beneath The Skin,” and her debut book “Beneath The Skin of Sorrow.”
With more than thirty honors and awards, including seven GRAMMY nominations, the Eubie Blake Award, and the Billie Holiday Award (Académie du Jazz, France), Freelon’s artistry continues to captivate audiences around the globe. She has performed with legends like The Count Basie Orchestra, appeared at Carnegie Hall, and recorded on Columbia, Concord, and Origin Records.
Joining Nnenna are Alan Pasqua and Keith Ganz — both acclaimed musicians and longtime collaborators whose synergy elevates every note.
