In this holiday-themed workshop, every participant will create both a small and large beautiful handcrafted ornament and returning or advanced students will create more intricate projects, including a small candlestick or tree topper. Jason, known for his engaging classes and captivating demonstrations, will be guiding participants through the art of traditional New Mexican tinwork—a practice passed down through his family over 5 generations.
Jason will introduce you to the history and techniques of tinwork, beginning with a short presentation on its origins and his family’s legacy in the craft. You'll then dive into hands-on creation, crafting your own stunning tin art with expert instruction on blending artistic expression with technical skill.
