Foraging in Northern NM El Valle

This event will be in El Valle, NM. Please register for exact location info.

During this walk we will introduce you to plant identification through families, mushroom identification, foraging tricks, safety and wild harvesting ethics. We will find common edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms native to this region that are prevalent throughout the mountain west. We will also share information about nutrition, herbalism, mushrooms and wild water. Class will be followed with a wild snack!

We recommend bringing a day pack with your lunch and water, note pad and pen, and a camera.

Please come prepared for variable weather!
