💫Hear about the rich history of Cha Cha, both the music and the style of dance.
💫Learn to understand the timing of the music, specifically the cha-cha-cha syncopated beats.
💫Build a strong foundation with the basic steps of the dance.
💫Dance with and without a partner, practicing both open footwork (shines) and lead/follow techniques.
💫Learn how to convert familiar Salsa turn patterns into Cha Cha timing.
💫Explore adding Cha Cha footwork to your Salsa repertoire.

This workshop will start at the beginner level — no previous Cha Cha experience is needed! If you attended any of the summer workshops, you should still come. It will be a great opportunity to solidify what you already learned! **Some prior Salsa experience would be helpful and is recommended.**
