About Torre:
Torre Edgerly began riding at the age of 5, taking advantage of the rich reining horse heritage in west central Ohio. Growing up neighboring renowned reining and cowhorse trainers played a key role in shaping her lifelong passion as an equestrian and for the Western riding tradition.
Working under some of the nation's top trainers in Reining, Western Pleasure, and the All Around, Torre integrated diverse principles from various disciplines into her training approach. This fusion allowed her to develop well-schooled, willing, and content horses capable of excelling in competitive arenas.
The success is evident through the achievements of both horses and riders, attaining World qualifiers, Finalist, Top Ten, and Champion and Reserve Champion titles in prestigious events such as The AQHA World Shows, Youth World, NSBA World, Quarter Horse Congress, The AQHA Novice Championships, The Reichert Celebration and other prominent competitions in the industry in a variety of events.
Recently, Torre has found inspiration in competing in and developing skills in the Western Dressage arena, achieving the AQHA Open High Point Jr Western Dressage horse at the Basic level in 2020, the first year the Team competed! She continues this journey today finding more ways to improve the performances of her customers and their horses through many of the principles used in Dressage.
Torre discovered a love for nurturing riders to become well-rounded, considerate, and knowledgeable competitors. With a background in fitness and kinesiology, she delves deeper into understanding the movement and compensation in both horses and riders. Torre specializes in forming successful partnerships between horse and rider, recognizing that a strong relationship is the cornerstone of a victorious team!
