The Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Lee County welcome all community members who need some calm, gentle socializing and garden- and plant-based fun to the Therapeutic Horticulture Garden Craft Gathering. All are welcome, especially veterans, caregivers, and anyone who needs a low-key space to mentally rest and engage with plants and community.

General Outline of the Gathering

Introduction of Therapeutic Horticulture and Introductions
Garden Craft with "Safe Space" area to have space to yourself
Share-Out and Clean-up- Talk about the outcomes of the activity and share experience, and then help EMG volunteers clean-up!
