About the event

Echoes Across the Water: Stories and Artifacts from Mercer County's Past

Join DCNR staff and local historical societies to learn and engage with Mercer County history. There will be activities including atlatl throwing, flint knapping, cordage making, mock archaeology digs, and apple cider samples. Please bring your stories and pictures to share related to Mercer County History. A hike on Early European-American Settlement will kick-of the event from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Falling Run Nature Trail. A hike on mid-century recreation at Rocky Basin will follow the event from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the McKeever Tract Trailhead.
