We are excited to announce, entries are now open for the 37th Pipe Opener Series, the much-anticipated precursor to the 2025/26 sailing season…and it's only 6 weeks away!

A favourite on the Tasmanian sailing calendar, the Pipe Opener is more than just a weekend of racing, it’s a fun, relaxed way to ease into the season, build crew bonds, and shake off the winter cobwebs. Its friendly, vibrant atmosphere makes it the perfect pre-season event for both new and seasoned crews.

This year, Race 2 will feature a slightly longer course, and we’re excited to bring back the Teams Event also into race 2, a great way to add a little extra fun and friendly rivalry out on the water.
The fun doesn’t stop when the boats hit the dock! Join us on Saturday night at Kettering Yacht Club for great food, live music, and good vibes, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the water.
