All About Lobsters & Lobstering

Homarus americanus, better known as the American or New England Lobster, is a fan favorite around here. But how much do you know about these fascinating crustaceans or how they are harvested? We welcome you to join us for the free and family-friendly program to learn more.

Special guest speaker Dave Casoni, Captain of commercial fishing vessel Margaret M. and Secretary/Treasurer of the Massachusetts Lobstermen's Association, will reveal the fascinating biology of the New England Lobster and share with us how they are responsibly harvested. Knowing Captain Dave... they'll probably be a few live specimans joining us too.
