Striking a Chord at Theatre on the Square

Does music have the power to change a life? This is the question father-daughter duo Adrian and Emma-Jean Galliard, along with acclaimed musical director Johan Heystek, attempt to answer in this musical feast, which travels deftly through Heystek’s unique arrangements of pop, musical theatre, jazz, swing and light-classical music woven together with anecdotes that are by turn tragic, heartfelt and hilarious.

This highly skilled trio explores how music connects, uplifts, comforts and entertains us. Their tight harmonies and jaw-dropping vocal performances have won them a global following and packed houses across South Africa and the UK.
