Hands-On Market Gardening Field Day

Profitable small scale vegetable producers rely on specific tools and techniques to make sure their work in the field is efficient and effective. At this field day and demonstration, Joel Barr of Abraham’s Table Farm will introduce you to the suite of simple hand tools they use to manage their garden and walk you through one of the core processes they use to prepare the soil for planting.

The day will include a tour of Abraham’s Table Farm, a real bed preparation demonstration, and culminate in a hands-on garlic planting party in the freshly prepared garden beds.
