🌱 Growing Native Plants

Join Samuel DeGrey from the Boundary County Extension Office, as he teaches a free community class on Idaho Native Plant Seeds. Growing Idaho native plants & shrubs supports native bees, birds, and other creatures. Wild local plants are hardy, drought resistant, and beautiful choices for landscaping.

You’ll take home some native plant seeds to get started!

Seed dormancy
Stratification & scarification methods
Light & moisture needs
Sowing techniques
Ethical seed gathering
Samuel’s Camas Rehabilitation Project
