Come spend the day with us at The Laurels Farm and learn how to start a garden from scratch while helping us prepare for new projects!
Community Brunch at 10 AM – meet new friends and fuel up for the day.
Projects start at 11 AM and run until 4 PM.
We’ll be:
Clearing land for future gardens, chicken coops and compost areas.
Cutting down trees & chipping wood.
Tarping grass areas with silage tarps to make new garden beds
Working in our existing gardens by weeding, pruning, trellising, etc.
Prepping the farm for fall & winter planting
It’s a hands-on day with lots to do and lots to learn! Whether you’re brand new to gardening or have years of experience, this is a great opportunity to pick up skills, connect with community, and support local food.
When: Saturday, September 6th | 10 AM – 4 PM
