Elever ved VG3 Musikk, dans og drama på Vågen videregående skole inviterer til musikalen Pippin, i samarbeid med VG3 Medier og kommunikasjon; Interiørdesign, Eksponeringsdesign; og Mediedesign. I skolens foajé kan publikum også oppleve en kunstutstilling skapt av VG3 Kunst, design og arkitektur – en visuell ramme som gir forestillingen en helhetlig og stemningsfull opplevelse.
Pippin forteller historien om en ung prins på søken etter mening, identitet og sin plass i verden. Som arving til den frankiske tronen leter han etter lykken i krig, makt og fristelser – men oppdager etter hvert at ekte lykke sjelden finnes i det storslåtte.
Dette er en tidløs fortelling med høy gjenklang i vår tid. I en tid preget av press, forventninger og sammenligning, kjenner mange seg igjen i prinsens lengsel etter frihet, tilhørighet og motet til å gå sin egen vei. Det finnes magi i øyeblikket en prins innser den virkelige betydningen av ære, kjærlighet og livets enkle gleder – i Stephen Schwartz' uforglemmelige musikalske mesterverk.

VG3 Music, Dance and Drama at Vågen Upper Secondary School invite you to the musical Pippin, in collaboration with VG3 Media and Communication; Interior Design, Exhibition Design; and Media Design. In the school’s foyer, the audience can also experience an art exhibition created by VG3 Art, Design and Architecture – a visual framework that gives the performance a holistic and atmospheric experience.
Pippin tells the story of a young prince in search of meaning, identity, and his place in the world. As heir to the Frankish throne, he seeks happiness in war, power, and temptations – but gradually discovers that true happiness is rarely found in the grand and glorious.
This is a timeless story with strong resonance in our own time. In an age marked by pressure, expectations, and comparison, many can relate to the prince’s longing for freedom, belonging, and the courage to follow his own path. There is magic in the moment a prince realizes the true meaning of honor, love, and life’s simple joys – in Stephen Schwartz’s unforgettable musical masterpiece.
