The Alchemy of Radical Inquiry
What if the doorway to liberation was not in fixing, achieving, or transcending…but in turning inward with naked honesty?
Radical Inquiry is not about finding the right answer. It is the art of stopping, feeling, and meeting what is here — without defense, without agenda.
Radical Inquiry is a path of surrender, where every contraction becomes a portal to God.
It is the invitation to stop running, to meet the raw pulse of longing, fear, or shame — and discover the silence beneath.
These are not questions to answer — they are keys to the wisdom of the soul - But inquiry alone is not enough. It must be held in the radiance of I AM Presence which is the living pulse of divinity within you.
When Radical Inquiry is anchored in I AM Presence,
it becomes alchemy.
It burns away illusion.
It reveals the Mystery.
It births the Beloved.
Radical (Self) Inquiry is a kind of mindfulness practice in which you ask yourself good questions to help you find your “edge.” Your edge is your personal unknown – the place where you have something to learn. Through taking us to our edge, self-enquiry helps us to understand our experiences in new ways, develop new behaviors, and fill in our blind spots (but the good news is there will always be more blind spots to fill in).
Our edge usually occurs in situations where we feel uncomfortable. An edge can often be found whenever we find ourselves struggling with a feeling, ruminating about a problem, strongly defending against or rejecting feedback or criticism, or quickly agreeing with feedback or criticism from others. We can often feel it in our body – tightness in the chest, rapid breathing, butterflies in the stomach, clenching fists, numbness, desires to walk away.
These edges are a result of Core Wounds/Trauma/ Shadow self ... the root cause of suffering.
Core wounds are the ancient, deep-seated emotional pains within us. They are like old friends—miserable, yet familiar. These wounds often stem from our earliest beliefs and experiences such as:
Original Sin: Imagine humanity’s journey—the Tree of Knowledge, the fall from innocence. Core wounds echo this ancient tale. They’re generational—passed down through guilt, rejection, and self-hatred.
Childhood Origins: Our core wounds often begin in childhood. As free-spirited children, we faced constraints—invalidation, punishment for being authentic. These wounds deepen as we grow.
