Students starting Year 7 in 2026 at Morisset High School are invited to get ready for starting high school at Orientation Day, on Wednesday, December 4, 2025.
Year 6 students starting high school at Morisset High School in 2026, will take part in a series of fun events and activities at Orientation Day to help familiarise themselves with their classmates and teachers and to help prepare them for their transition to secondary school.
Families will need to organise transport for their children, who will need to arrive at Morisset High School at 9 am for a 9.15 am start. The session will conclude at 2.50 pm.
Parents and carers are invited to stay after dropping off, and meet the teachers and staff, and enjoy some light refreshments. Students and families will enter through the MHS Community Garden, near the corner of Bridge and Newcastle Streets, Morisset. Look for the signs and flags.
Year 6 students are able to use the Morisset High School buses if needed. Specific bus route information can be obtained from the bus company.
All students must come in their full Primary School uniform and bring snacks for their morning tea and a filled water bottle. A BBQ lunch will be provided.
Letters will be sent home from school with Year 6 students and will include a permission note that families will need to complete.
